All card payments on this website are processed by Stripe. This website never sees, stores or handles your full card number — Stripe collects the card details directly, authorises the payment and settles the funds. This policy explains how that works in practice.
Payment methods
We accept the card types supported by Stripe for Malaysian merchants, which typically includes Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Where Stripe supports it, local methods such as FPX online banking may also be offered at checkout. Available methods are shown on the payment page before you confirm.
Card details are handled by Stripe
- Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are entered into fields hosted and controlled by Stripe.
- The data travels directly from your browser to Stripe over an encrypted connection.
- BitreeBiz receives only the result of the transaction plus limited reference data such as the card brand, the last four digits, the expiry month and year, and a transaction identifier.
- We never store full card numbers, security codes or complete card data in our website, database, email or support systems.
Security and compliance
Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor and applies strong customer authentication such as 3-D Secure where required. Your card issuer may ask you to approve a payment in your banking app or with a one-time code. Because the card data never reaches our servers, our own systems handle only the minimum needed to match a payment to an invoice.
Currency and taxes
Prices are displayed in the currency selected on the pricing page, with Malaysian Ringgit as the default. Card networks may apply a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee when the currency differs from your card’s billing currency; that fee is set by your bank and is not charged by us. Quoted prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and any tax due is added at checkout or on the invoice.
Invoices and receipts
Every successful payment produces an invoice or receipt in your account and is emailed to the address on file. Keep these documents for your records. If you need a corrected invoice — for example a different company name or tax reference — contact us within 30 days of the payment.
Recurring payments
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically through Stripe until cancelled. We send a reminder before a renewal where the plan requires it, and you can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not reverse the current period, which is governed by our Refund Policy.
Failed payments
If a card is declined, Stripe returns an error and no funds are taken. For recurring plans we retry the charge a few times over the following days and email you so the card can be updated. If payment still fails, the plan may be downgraded or suspended until the balance is settled. Access is restored once payment succeeds.
Duplicate or unexpected charges
If you see a charge twice on your statement, first check whether one of them is a pending authorisation that will drop off on its own. If a duplicate is confirmed, email us with the invoice number and the statement reference and we will reverse it. Our Refund Policy sets out the process and the timelines.
Unrecognised charges and chargebacks
Charges may appear on your statement as “BITREEBZ” or a similar descriptor together with the Stripe reference. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us before contacting your bank; most cases are resolved the same day. Raising a chargeback freezes the amount while the case is investigated, and we may suspend the related service until it is closed.
Your responsibility
You confirm that you are authorised to use the card or account supplied at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current and for any charges incurred through your account before you notify us of unauthorised use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our payment methods, processor or regulations change. The version published on this page at the time of your payment applies to that payment.
