Our plans are priced for normal business use. This policy describes what counts as fair use of storage, bandwidth, email and automation, and what happens if usage goes well beyond that, so one account cannot degrade the service for everyone else.
Principles
- Use the service for your own business operations, not as a resale platform or a public file host.
- Keep usage proportionate to the plan you are on and to the size of your business.
- Do not shift load onto shared infrastructure in a way that affects other customers.
- Tell us in advance about campaigns, migrations or imports that will spike usage.
Storage and files
Storage is intended for business documents such as invoices, receipts, customer records and the assets needed for your website. Storing large media libraries, backups of unrelated systems, archives or pirated material is outside fair use. Where a plan states a storage allowance, exceeding it may require an upgrade or the removal of old files.
Bandwidth and traffic
Normal website traffic, customer portal logins and document downloads are expected. Sustained high-volume downloading, hotlinking assets from other sites, streaming large media from our servers, or automated bulk retrieval of records is not fair use.
Email and notifications
Transactional email for invoices, receipts and account notices is included. Bulk email marketing must be sent through a dedicated marketing platform, not through our servers. Sending unsolicited email, purchased lists or high-volume campaigns through the platform is not permitted and may result in immediate suspension.
Automation and API use
You may connect integrations and scripts to your account. Polling must be reasonable — typically no more than a few requests per second, with backoff on errors. Repeatedly hitting rate limits, running scrapers, or using the API to rebuild a copy of the service is outside fair use.
Prohibited activity
- Hosting or distributing malware, phishing pages or illegal content.
- Cryptomining, torrenting or any resource-intensive background processing unrelated to your business.
- Attempting to bypass plan limits, quotas or access controls.
- Reselling or sublicensing the service without a written agreement.
- Penetration testing or load testing without prior written approval.
Monitoring
We monitor aggregate resource usage to keep the platform stable. We do not read your business records for this purpose. Where usage patterns look anomalous, we may review logs relating to the affected account and contact you before taking action.
Enforcement
Where fair use is exceeded, we act proportionately:
- Notice — we contact you to explain the issue and agree on a fix.
- Throttling — if the issue continues, we may rate-limit or temporarily restrict the affected feature.
- Suspension — repeated or serious breaches may lead to suspension of the account or the specific feature.
- Termination — unlawful use or a security risk may lead to immediate termination under our Terms & Conditions.
We restore access as soon as the issue is resolved. Where a limit is genuinely too tight for your business, we would rather upgrade the plan with you than restrict your work.
Reporting abuse
If you believe an account hosted with us is being used abusively, email [email protected] with the details and any evidence. Reports are treated confidentially.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes are announced in your account before they take effect.
